RrhoidCath™ delivers a regional, programmable infusion of local anaesthetic directly to the pudendal nerves after haemorrhoid surgery.
Catheters are placed using nerve-stimulation guidance during the procedure, so the anaesthetic is delivered exactly where the pain is generated.
An infusion pump delivers local anaesthetic to the surgical site through fine catheters around the clock. Within physician-set limits, the patient can deliver an additional bolus to manage pain-causing movements.
An over-the-shoulder bag carries the pump, with extension lines to enable comfortable sleep and showering.
Because pain is controlled at its source, recovery leans far less on systemic opioids.
Catheters are positioned at the pudendal nerve branches, connected to the pump immediately post-surgery.
Continuous infusion, with patient-controlled boluses. Pump worn conveniently in carry bag.
Device removed during routine post-op visit.
